This page chronicles the adventures of the Victoria Curling Club's "Team McConnell"  During the 2005 Manitoba Curling Association Bonspiel.

 The Boys are back.  The 2005 MCA spiel will see the best that Team McConnell can whip up.  Having bought them selves for $130.00 in the Victoria CC. Calcutta, these guys are out to make some serious cash.

Team introductions...

Skip: Jeff "Is there any other place you's want'a be"McConnell - A mild mannered X-Ray technologists by day, but at night (When not watching the Boston Bruins or WWF) he is "Super Skip". Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound (well not really but it sounded good).

Tom "I love this time of year" Walus

Hey there it goes again... What the..?

Ric "Don't touch my Rock t-shirt" Jobse is just coming off knee surgery, but this should not effect his performance.  While most with such an injury would have to be shot, Ric will numb the pain with a few beverages and salyforth.

Kent "Growing older but not up" Simmons

Now I'm sure you must have seen that.  It looks like a little fairie?

Doug "The Man" is back!  After missing last years MCA because he had to go on a cruise, Doug decided it would be more fun to stay in Winnipeg at -30C^o and hang around with a bunch of drunk curlers.  We are arranging a psychiatric evaluation for Doug.

And welcome back the man who started it all Greg "Scrubunzee, Scrubunze" Paterson.

Once again the rink will wear the colours of the Med Lab Men,s Club.  A proud tradition dating back 12 months.
